Webinars can be really useful for meetings and learning new stuff. Still, it's nice to be able to interact with people face to face, call me old-fashioned.

It's a bit sad that, on the one hand all this new technology has made our lives easier, and on the other, we need to use this same technology to connect with each other because we are more and more isolated and away from personal human contact and connection. I guess it's good to be able to communicate quickly with our families and co-workers, esp. since the shared family meal and close interaction with co-workers seem to be happening less and less.

This was easy to do. I can see how some of these tools can be really useful for many things in the library graphic dept.--flyers, posters, programs, etc. What fun!

Spell with Flickr

This simple use of Flikr was not too much fun. It required saving each image on the desktop and then uploading it into the blog post and then moving them around to fit--and they don't really fit very well. It must be because I don't know what to do or how to use the program efficiently. And how to apply this use for Libraries....? I guess there could be a useful application by someone who is adept at using this.
